Russia Becomes India's No.1 Oil Supplier Overtaking Saudi Arabia & Iraq

Moscow’s record 946000 barrels per day of crude to New Delhi in October accounts for 22% of total imports, as opposed to Iraq's 20.5% and Saudi’s 16%. (Energy cargo tracking firm Vortexa)

Overall crude import also went up 5% from the month before, with Russia’s share rising 8%.

India has also for the first time imported more seaborne Russian crude than Europe, while China has emerged as the largest buyer of seaborn Russian oil with 1 million barrels per day
